The purpose of the Stony Point Baptist Church Youth Ministry is to Expose the Love of God to the youth in our church and the surrounding area, lead them to Exalt God, to Enjoy other believers, and to Equip them for their purpose in ministry as they Experience God.

  We exist to devote ourselves to God.  We will seek to praise God through 5 expressions of Worship.

Singing, Praying, Hearing the Word, Giving and Fellowship

Each Sunday evening at 6:00, the Youth participate in their own worship service that is relevant to them.

Wednesday Night Bible Studies:  Lead by a youth in the youth group at 7:00 on Wednesday evenings.

Sunday Morning Bible Studies:  Sunday School Classes for grades 7-8 and 9-12 meet downstairs in Lindsey Hall on Sunday mornings at 9:30.

Youth Led Bible Studies:  Lead by youth in the youth group on relevant topics on the last Thursday of each month.

We exist to declare God's Word.  We seek to declare God's word through 2 expressions of evangelism.

Relational Evangelism:  Spreading God's word through training/sharing with friends and family.

Intentional Evangelism:  A key part of the Christian life is to share our faith with those we do not know.

We exist to bring deliverance to God's World.  We seek to take God's gift to the world through 2 expressions of Missions.  Local Missions which are done in a our community and in our church, working with the handyman ministry as well as a yearly North American Missions trip project. 

We exist to demonstrate God's love.  We seek to show his love to one another through 4 expressions of love.  Unity, Fellowship, Caring and Sharing.  We have a wide variety for the youth to be involved in some type of ministry.  The goal of any good youth ministry is to make every youth a minister, every task a ministry.  The youth group must grow inwardly and outwardly at the same time.
